Ive always been a fan of vintage watches my grandma's gold vintage Rolex is one of my prized possessions for special occasions but for every day i absolutely adore Casio watches their cute and reminiscent of the digital age if i dare say!

So Ive had an interesting weekend a friend of mine Q u know who you are told me that he read my blog and likes it and thinks i should update it a little more so Q this ones for you.
Enough about girly accessories everyone knows the best accessory is arm candy (handsome, polished and styled bien sur!) And i respect men with style who take risks (a la chuck bass)

Ditch the plain white tee jeans and sneakers and give a classic look a whirl.
A brand im loving recently is Thom Browne i know some of their clothes are a little extreme but frankly any man who can pull this off i respect!

I still haven't seen this bag in real life but nevertheless Im sure ill absolutely love it! (its arriving in 2 days)
Ever since Alexa Mulberry bags haven't really been very updated so this season they introduce the TAYLOR in hopes of another bestseller and i think they've done it this time!

Its been a hectic year but i have been addicted to some blogs and decided to revive my own ...

My new obsession is the new product released by Shu Uemura...
Mika Ninagawa uv under base mousse spf 30 - already out of stock on the site i bought mine from the Shu Uemura counter in Selfridges. i like most people go weak in the knees for anything limited edition and had to have it!!! the websites stats that

"our famous primer is a weightless mousse make-up base that helps to even out the skin's tone and texture, reduce redness and minimize the appearance of pores. use before make-up application to prepare the face for flawless makeup."

easy there! weightless base? even skin tone and texture? reduce redness and minimize the appearance of pores? sounds to me their stating what everyone wants to hear ... im not easily sold so Im going to start testing the product for at least a week before i give it my own review because this product fascinates me in the search of the perfect primer. many products claim to do the same and usually don't work for me. for example the famous Nars Primer (that looks and smells like Benefit's Dr feel good BTW) that Nars claim :-

'it may be used before primer to create a flawlessly matte finish or used throughout the day to combat shine and rejuvenate the complexion. Apply to fine lines, large pores or rough spots for an instant smoothing effect. For all skin types.'

Not so much, i applied the waxy product to my skin under my favorite foundation Nars Sheer Glow in Tahoe and didn't see a difference apart from my face looking slightly oilier than usual, and felt i constantly had something on my face and wanted to wash it off. not fun!

I'm interested to try the Shu Uemera product because its a mousse, slightly unusual for a primer but i will give it a chance try it out for a week and give it a review.

the ipod classic now comes in 160gb and costs as much as the 120gb did! :)

and colorful shuffles even tho their not my cup of tea!

So yesterday was my birthday :) yay! thank you to all my friends that made my day extra special, by al the calls and bb messeges and visits i <3 u all!

Im traveling tomorrow and im extatic i really need a break, and need to see my fav people in Paris yeh thats u A and A and K and M ooook :)

Ok so i havnt posted in a while since ive been overwhelmed with exams its 2.33 am and im still in cramming mode! its bad i know but whatever i work best under pressure.

Im sooooo sick of reading about renaissance art and buddhist art and impressionism aaaaaaaaaaaaaa i love art history but sincerly when im forced to study something i just wont do it! no no and no!

and today out of all days my immune system fails me when i need it the most :( and im comming down with something. its always good to have friends like Vic who urge u to study and shove all types of vitamins and tea down ur throat to make u feel better <3 u vic!

ok so basically my highlight of the day is a new pair of heels mommy dearest got me today :) i was in such a bad mood and my bff JamJam sent me a picture of a pair of open toe mary jane's made of shiny sparkly leather! ive always been a jimmy choo fan my obsession started at 14 when a certain chemistry teacher used to tell me all about this amazing brand called jimmy choo! and the store hadn't opened yet in Dubai so basically didnt know what she was talking about! cut me some slack i was 14!! ever since ive been buying jimmy choos religiously! oh how i love that lilac box and recently its been off my radar since the havnt made anything really worth buying since the IT bag "Ramona" was it? of 07. so yeh Jimmy choo's are back with a vengeance.

pass or fail today at the end of the day my baby choo's will always be there for me :)

Im currently in a constitutional law lecture, kinda bored so i asked my self where would i rather be right now? and i decided that if i could be anywhere right now ide be in Paris, i want to eat pain au chocolate and some rose mini macaroons and I also want to have an espresso in a little dingy cafe in the 6eme arrondissement near l'université paris decartes near all the mini law and history books shops wearing black leather spandex and knee high Sergio rossi boots and read art history books all day....

If you do anything this weekend watch the movie Marie Antoinette , because i feel it captures the essence of life in Versailles in the 1700 before the French revolution , its so quirky and colourful and just perks up my mood also all the pastries sweets just make you drool ! *major sweet tooth*

I dedicate this post to nawary because she recently decided she might ditch her BB for a prada fone and i strongly discourage her! u can never be too connected to the world also you were the reason i got my BB almost a year and a half ago before the fad started!

{OK THIS POST HAS BEEN IN MY DRAFT BOX SINCE AUGUST SORRY FOR THE LATE POST}

This summer i got the chance to visit one of the most beautiful cities in the world, I would reccomend St Petersburg to any one thinking of visiting Russia..

Its an amazing city rich with the best art museums and ballet.. Due to it being the summer a lot of the ballet companies are on world tours but thankfully i got a chance to see
Лебединое Озеро (Swan Lake) by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, which was truly breath taking! one of the most flawless ballet's I've ever seen in my life! and ive seen my share of ballet and I've done ballet for years! but seriously Ballet in Russia is intense! ever one is so turned out which is something your either born with or your not..

During the Holiday our guide literally stuffed our heads with Russian history! and surprisingly enough I didnt get bored! i mean that country is FIERCE! I mean the country was reigned by a Woman for 34 years!! Her name was Екатерина II Великая or Catherine II the great and u did not want to get on her bad side! no seriously she even had some one to kill her own husband! and she had some amazing diamonds
(which wasn't what i was looking at in all the paintings)

Also for the fans of икра (caviar) ekra in russian, you wont be disappointed personally Im not a Caviar fan Russai has best caviar and u can get it on any thing ! Literally anything!

If you like your Parisian Crepe's trust me you would LOVE блин (Blin) its the Russian Pancake its literally to die for! u can have it with everything from Caviar to fresh berries absolutely delicious !

I was very impressed with what I saw and i would go back any day!

well now that we can officially say summer has started there are many essential pieces to pack for summer! and if ur anything like me you probably leave the packing for the last minute and usually forget some important travel must "pack's"

so take out ur travel bags and check off these summer essentials for any where in the world! if ur staying in ur home town of strolling the streets of Paris or London or even LA :-

Ok so the most important thing to pack it sun block! and i dont care what any one says i say coppertone sun block all the way! never go anywhere without this keep it in ur sexy tote (thats so in this summer!) and it weighs close to nothing and prevents sun burn and helps ur keep ur healthy glow this summer!
and u gotta admit it smells like summer (it really brings back summer camp at the YMCA in California when i was a kid they used to slather up with sunblock before doing any out door activity! super cute!)

the second summer must have it a big bag and my bag of choice is this stunning piece by Bottega veneta ! (everybody needs a Bottega purse for an instant chic and classy look!)
this bag is currently bring carried around town by Angelina Jolie! and its a stuuuuuunning piece i dare u to disagree!

My favorite make up brand is M.A.C but of course! my dressing table is over loaded with every shade of mac eye shadow , lipstick, blusher you name it ive got it! i am obsessed! i drive my family crazy with mac! my parents think ive got enough and my friends think im a mac-a-holic! but i dont care its my addiction of choice and i am making space on my dressing table for this summer's FAB collection! Neo sci-fi! its a stunning collection with light lips and a slight smokey eye and wild nails this collection screams 60's sieren! and is veeeeeery Sophia loren to me ! with fab casing theres no reason not to buy every single piece of this collection!

oh yeh also dont forget the boring essentials like socks and pj's!
where ever you are this summer rock the town ur in! throw away the fanny pack and dont look like a tourist! not sexy!

Tomrrow is a new day, and don't fret the lil things ! Here in the midsts of studying the French, Russian and british constitutions I write to u dear bloggers reminding u that I'm still alive! I'm almost done with my law year and can't wait to chill by the pool with my besties who are flying in from all around the world canada, australia ,scotland etc... I caaaaant wait!! Hope every one is having a beautiful day! i mean how couldn't you? have u see the weather lately PERFECTION is the best way to discribe it ! sunny with a light breeze *sigh* if only it could stay like this forever!

this is my first blog and i know a couple of weeks from now im going to look back onto this blog and say " OMG i cant believe i said that!" but oh well here i go!

I write to you from my bed, after hours of lectures and window shopping with M!
i ask you dear bloggers have you ever read a book you loved so much that you look forward to the minute you walk into ur room to kick off your shoes and lay in bed and read for hours on end not realising how much time has passed? well if you haven't ive got just the book for you!
The luxe by Anna Godbersen is a must read! think of it as "Gossip girl" set in 1889! check it out and tell me what you think!
Even if Mystery, Romance , Jelousy and betrayal is not your cup of tea you should still buy the book the cover art is just stunning!

Make up head's up!
M.A.C's new collection Fafi is going to hit the stores soon! its a stunning collection inspired by a french graffiti artist ! and her characters a.k.a Fafinette's are used on the m.a.c make up cases.. keep and eye out for this lively colored collection!! because im sure that as soon as it hits the stands its going to dissapear in recored time! so hurry up and embrace your inner FAFI.
